Carol Ricciardi, Martha Justice, and Sue Skiba have taken turns as directors since then and have continued the rich tradition she started. We are extremely grateful to these women who over the years shared their talents and love with thousands of First Presbyterian Preschool children over the years. Now looking to the future, we are excited to announce that in our 76th year of operation, the preschool is preparing to reopen our doors for the 2021-2022 school year after closing this past year due to COVID-19 related issues. The preschool is a direct ministry of the First Presbyterian Church and is under the supervision and guidance of a governing board.

The Board of Trustees is composed of the Pastor, along with members of the church and community who have expertise or interest in education and early childhood development. As has been done in the past, the preschool will continue to have a Christian-themed environment where students of varying backgrounds and differing needs may come and learn and grow together. There will be a change in the class offerings.
The preschool will operate with a full day, five-day-a-week program and will combine the very best elements of preschool and daycare for 4- and 5-year-old children, the year prior to their entering Kindergarten. Families interested in enrolling their child, should watch this website for updated information concerning the school opening and registration.
