First Presbyterian Church should known to all as a place where people
come to know Jesus, serve Jesus, and bring others to Jesus.
I am blessed to be the Administrative Secretary at First Presbyterian Church of Salem since 1984. Although I am not a member of FPC, I am definitely a part of the church family.
I reside in Alliance with my husband, Dave. We have two sons Kevin, his wife Renee and Darren, his wife Tami and 3 grandsons Cooper, Cole, and Camden.
I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, devotional yoga, playing the piano, riding a bicycle, and going for walks.
I was blessed to begin my journey of faith at a young age. My faith was nurtured well at First Presbyterian Church of Springfield with an active youth group and choir. Young Life also was a very large part of my life during high school. As an adult, I love my church family and try to use my gift as an educator to be active in the life of my church, our children and the youth.
I also taught Sunday School, VBS and served as Coordinator of Youth Music. I've been an assistant with the Pres-Bees program since its inception with planning lessons, directing choirs, and teaching.
I pretty much stay away from the kitchen because I am food prep challenged. I recently retired after 22-years as Administrator and teacher of our 75+ year-old Preschool, which truly enriched my life as a professional educator and a person. I also enjoy being part of the music program, singing and ringing for 20+ years.

Since that time I have served as director of children's vocal choirs, as well as adult and children's handbell and chime choirs. I have also been a member of the Haviland Choir since the mid-1980s.
