Salem Presbyterian Church was organized and enrolled in the Presbytery in 1832 with 20 charter members.
They met in a harness shop until 1842 when
a wood frame building
was built and used
until 1860, when the current sanctuary
was built.
As First Presbyterian Preschool of Salem gets underway, the church-sponsored preschool program is currently hiring an Administrator and Lead Teacher. We are currently accepting applications for both positions:
Do you enjoy leading a team and provide direction to those in your local community? Are you organized and able to perform a variety of tasks? FPC is seeking an individual with at least an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or a related field (Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred) for the role of Administrator.

Are you passionate about molding young minds and feel positive guidance will establish a healthy learning environment? FPC is seeking an individual with at least an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA Child Development Associate, Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
