Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. Wilderness experiences have always been treasured by Christian people. One study of long-time church members and pastors revealed a high percentage said that their deepest spiritual experience was at a church camp. Our culture has lost many of its ties to God’s creation. We live in a fast-paced technological age. We desperately need to slow down and make time for wonder and amazement. Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church Camp is one way we have of experiencing God’s creation. One of the most beloved parts of the camp is the sign that says, “Be still and know that I am God.” • We currently have over $3,000 in scholarship money to see that as many of our children as possible can have this opportunity for spiritual growth. • We would love to be a place for young adults to offer their gifts as counsellors. • A special need we have is for someone with some medical training or experience to help with the camp. • We request your prayers and support for our ministry.
